Part 3: The Moon and Earth from Space

In this part, students will be following the flight path of a recent NASA mission and determine where in the flight path three images were taken.

The NASA mission is named Artemis I.  Artemis I is the first mission in a series of complex missions in NASA's deep space exploration systems program. Its primary goal is to demonstrate the abilities of the Orion spacecraft in space and ensure that the re-entry, descent, splashdown, and recovery stages are safe for the crew of Artemis II that will be launching in the future.  More information on Artemis I can be found using the following link: Artemis I Info.
